Who is Angie King?

Jo Koy's ex-wife, Angie King, is a Filipino-American artist and singer who goes by her stage name, Nura Luca.

She was born on May 28, 1979, and is a proud Gemini according to her Instagram.

While she was born in the Philippines, her family immigrated to the United States when she was a child.

Along with her parents, King and her brother, David King Jr., lived in California.

She was raised Catholic, and credits singing in a church choir as inspiring her to pursue a music career.

King started dating the comedian in the early days of his career, and they wed not long after meeting, although the exact date is unknown.

They parted ways in 2013 but have remained great friends.

On Koy's 50th birthday in June 2021, King penned a sweet post to her ex-husband, calling him her "best friend."

She posted a series of photos and videos of the duo and their son to her Instagram to celebrate the big day.

The former couple shares one child.

They welcomed their son, Joseph J. Herbert Jr., back in 2003.

Is Jo Koy in a relationship?

Jo is best known for being on the Chelsea Lately show, hosted by fellow comedian Chelsea Handler.

Page Six exclusively confirmed the two were dating on September 21, 2021.

After nearly one year together, Chelsea and Jo announced their split in the summer of 2022.

"It's nice to bend for people. It's nice to learn how to compromise. It's nice to learn how to demonstrate my love publicly," Chelsea said in a podcast released in July 2022, per Us Weekly.

"I believe Jo needed that."

"I was so inspired by us, but Jo didn't crack me open," she added.

"My psychiatrist cracked me open, and then I was open, and then I was able to bend for somebody."

Jo Koy hasn't been linked to anyone new since splitting up with Handler.

It's likely that he's kept himself busy focusing on his flourishing career.
