Outside of being known as Darren Criss' wife, Mia Swier is known as a director and producer born on September 1, 1985.
As a member of Fox's production team, she has directed promotional films for several shows including Scream Queens, Glee, Homeland, and Shameless.
She is also the co-founder of the production company Effin Media and is the singer and bass guitarist for Guns N' Hoses, an all-female Guns N’ Roses tribute band.
Before her career, Mia obtained a bachelor’s degree from New York University and attended the New York Film Academy.

Throughout their relationship, the celebrity couple welcomed one child together.
On April 11, 2022, they welcomed a baby girl named Bluesy Belle Criss.

When did Darren Criss and Mia Swier get married?
Darren and Mia first met through mutual friends in 2006 and began dating four years later.
On February 16, 2019, the couple then tied the knot.
“That was one of the most incredible events of my entire life. The most magical experience. Say what you will about the construct of marriage and tradition: weddings are amazing," Darren told People at the time.
Their ceremony was held in New Orleans and in a break from tradition, the pair walked down the aisle together.
