Who are Molly Yeh's parents?
Molly Yeh was born to parents, John and Jody Yeh.
Originally born in Washington D.C., John, 65, grew up in Los Angeles, California, and is of Chinese descent.
He grew up in a music-oriented family and played the clarinet at local chamber music ensembles and youth symphonies while he was a pre-med student at UCLA.
He later transferred to The Juilliard School of the Performing Arts in New York City to pursue his musical career.

He is the founder and director of the chamber ensemble, Chicago Pro Musica, and the assistant principal clarinetist and E-flat clarinetist of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. He is also a founding member of the New York New Music Ensemble.
John won a Grammy Award for Best New Classical Artist in 1985 and won the Frank Sinatra Musical Performance Award in 1986 for Best New Classical Artist.
John married Jody, a clarinetist of Jewish descent, and mother to Molly and Jenna.
He then remarried a woman named Teresa Reilly, also a clarinetist, and the pair have a daughter, Mia.

Who is Molly Yeh's husband?
Molly Yeh, 33, met Nick Hagen, 36, while they were both attending Juilliard.
Hagen is a musician and was working to master the trombone while Yeh studied percussion.
In 2013, the two decided to move from NYC to Hagen's farm in East Grand Forks, Minnesota.
They got married one year later and live on the sugar beet farm that has been in Hagen's family for generations and now supplies ingredients for most of Yeh's recipes.

Molly and Nick share two children together.
The couple welcomed their first child, Bernie, whose full name is Bernadette Rosemary Yeh Hage, back in 2019.
In September 2021, she took to social media to announce that she was pregnant with her second child.
Their daughter, Ira Dorothy Yeh Hagen, was born on February 20, 2022, and Yeh said she couldn't be more thrilled.
Yeh announced Ira's birth on Instagram two days later. "She's here!!!
