According to Forbes, the basketball legend became the NBA's first active player with a net worth of $1billion.

During the 2022-2023 season, James earned $124.5million, before taxes and agents’ fees, bringing his net worth officially to billionaire status the outlet reports.

The only other basketball billionaire per Forbes is Michael Jordan, who reached the mark in 2014 - after retirement.

LeBron, who is one of the richest and most influential athletes on the global stage, "owns an undisclosed amount of FSG shares after previously holding an approximately 2 percent share of the Liverpool soccer franchise since 2011" according to the Boston Globe.

In becoming an FSG partner, James will also because a part-owner in other FSG subsidiaries like NESN, Roush Fenway Racing, and Fenway Sports Management.

LeBron James married his high school sweetheart, Savannah James, in 2013.

The couple shares three children together.

In her senior year, she got pregnant with her first child, Bronny, who was born in 2004.

She gave birth to her son, Bryce, in 2007, and following that, daughter Zhuri in 2014.

Bronny is set to follow in his father's footsteps as a basketball star.

He is already successful during high school basketball tournaments and has caught the eyes of recruiters, despite being only 17 years old.
