ONE cop is dead, and two others were injured after gunfire erupted at an Amtrak station in Arizona.
The Tucson Police Department responded to an active shooter scene at an Amtrak station in downtown Tucson, Arizona, on Monday morning.

According to Tucson Police Department Chief Chris Magnus, one DEA agent died in the shooting, while another DEA official is in critical condition and a task force officer was also injured.
“My deepest sympathies go out to our federal partners at the Drug Enforcement Administration, who work side by side with our TPD officers on a daily basis to keep our community safe," Magnus said in a statement.
"I want to thank the Tucson Police Department, including our SWAT team, who immediately responded and secured the scene.”
The shooting reportedly unfolded just after 8am near 400 N. Toole Ave on board an Amtrak train stopped at the Tucson station.
Tucson cops detained one person in the second level of the double-decker car.
A second suspect was killed after he reportedly opened fire at officers while barricaded in a bathroom.

The injured officials were taken to Banner University Medical Center for treatment.
An Amtrak spokesperson said the train was traveling from Los Angeles to New Orleans when it arrived at the Tucson station at 7:40am local time.
The railroad service said 137 passengers and 11 crew members were on board the train.
All passengers and crew members were immediately evacuated from the station and sustained no injuries.
