Tom Brady admits 'I was crushed' by Super Bowl loss to New York Giants which left Patriots stars in tears and being sick

TOM Brady has revealed all over the New England Patriots devastating Super Bowl loss to the New York Giants.

The NFL legend was expected to make history in 2007 with a 19-0 season, before the huge upset defeat.

The Patriots lost 17-14, ending their hopes of becoming only the second undefeated team after the Miami Dolphins in 1972.

And seven-time Super Bowl winner Brady has told of how he was left "crushed" by the defeat.

Brady said in the latest episode of Apple TV's Dynasty doc-series: “We were crushed. I was crushed.

"My teammates were crushed, coaches were crushed. That was our history-making game.

"That would have been everything and I remember getting to the bus in Arizona and there was not a sound.

"It was pitch dark, we were as devastated as you could be. There was no sleep.

"There was no sleep for a long time."

Patriots owner Robert Kraft also revealed the heartbreak inside the locker room in Glendale, Arizona.

He added: "I’m watching guys throw up and cry on the floor. I’ve never seen that."

Super Bowl 42 went down as one of the most famous in history, due to the nature of the loss.

Giants star David Tyree made a miraculous catch against his helmet late in the game, which will be remembered forever.

Brady, 46, added: "I was like f* man, how the f* did you do that.

"That play, I was looking at it the other day if that ball bounces up we have like five guys there to intercept the ball.

"It’s a million to one."
