HEATHER Tom, who plays Katie Logan on The Bold and the Beautiful, is mourning the loss of her mom.
The actress shared an emotional farewell message to the woman she called her "most important influence."

Heather took to Instagram to post several photos and a video tribute to her mother, Marie.
The actress also shared a lengthy and heartfelt message.
"At 12:20 am Sunday morning, my brother, David, my sister, Nicholle, and her all but adopted son, Michael, held my beautiful mother’s hand, kissed her face and whispered I love you as she passed from this world to the next.
"She was my biggest champion and my most important influence."

Heather described her mom as someone who loved toy poodles, Mexican food, margaritas and Elvis Presley.
She also credited her with moving her family out to Los Angeles - even though Marie was a single mom.
"Whatever talent we have is hers. Whatever drive we have is hers," Heather continued.
"I will miss her everyday, but when I look into my son’s eyes I’ll see her looking back at me, because his eyes are hers.

Heather Marie Tom is an actress and director who was born on November 4, 1975, in Hinsdale, Illinois.
She is arguably best known for her roles as Victoria Newman on The Young and The Restless and as Katie Logan on The Bold and the Beautiful.
"She has come a long way,” Heather said of her B&B character, via Soap Opera Digest.
“I really appreciate that she hasn’t been stuck in one place. Over the years, Katie has had a lot of things happen that have changed her worldview and how she approaches problems and relationships.
"At her core, she has the same values, and there will always be that part of her that feels like she’s in her sister’s shadow, but she has definitely come into her own.”
Additionally, Heather has starred in Ugly Betty, One Life to Live, The Billionaire, Criminal Minds, and Rizzoli & Isles.
FAMILY TIME
Heather tied the knot with musician James Achor in 2011.
James is not big on social media, but he does have credits behind-the-scenes in several movies and tv shows.
Over the years, he has worked in the music department for several productions including Charmed (1999), Waking Up in Reno (2002), All Aboard America (2004), The Manzanar Fishing Club (2012), and Bigfoot's Love Slave (2017).
He's also contributed music to his wife's workplace at The Bold and the Beautiful.
While Heather might be busy with her career, that has not stopped her from starting a family.
In 2012, the two-time Daytime Emmy Award winner welcomed her son, Zane Alexander Achor.
"I’m so proud to be your mom- you’re the best thing that’s ever happened to me," Tom said of her son in a 2020 social media post.
