TGI Fridays introduces major 'revamp' to its holiday drink line and customers will also score a special gift

TGI Fridays has made a big change to its bar menu for the holidays with 14 new cocktails and mocktails.

Available to order at all TGI locations now, the Claus for Celebration cocktail menu features 14 original drinks with a holiday twist.

TGI Fridays is certainly getting into the festive spirit and shaking things up at the bar. 

The all-new menu caters to customers of all tastes with options including: 

  • Henny Sweater Weather: A chilled house-mulled cider made with Hennessy V.S Cognac.
  • Spruced Up Spritz: A vivid green sip mixing Hendrick's gin, Midori, La Marca Prosecco, and seltzer.
  • The Flying Reindeer: Bring the energy with Bacardi Rum, Midori, agave, citrus, and Red Bull Red Watermelon.
  • Chilled Cocoa: A cool spin on hot cocoa, this non-alcoholic sip features chilled Ghirardelli cocoa, torched whipped vanilla foam, and graham cracker.
  • Skrewed Up S'mores: Skrewball Peanut Butter Whiskey, DeKuyper Crème de Cocoa, and chilled Ghirardelli cocoa are mixed and topped with torched whipped vanilla foam and a graham cracker for the ultimate holiday treat.
  • Peppermint Christmas in Jalisco: Feel the mint chill with Patron Silver, chilled Ghirardelli cocoa, whipped vanilla foam, and peppermint.
  • Triple Berry Sleigh Ride Shooter: Smirnoff Vodka, blackberry, cranberry, lemon, and strawberry sugar are combined for the merriest of sips.
  • Star Anise Old Fashioned: Stay true to the classics with this Bulleit Bourbon and house-made star anise simple syrup old fashioned.
  • Uncle Nearest's Winter Sour: Notes of blood orange, herbs, and rosemary elevate this spin on a whiskey sour.
  • Blackberry Long Island Iced Tea: Brighten your spirits with a fruity sip combining Skyy Vodka, Cruzan Aged Light Rum, New Amsterdam Gin, Christian Brother's Brandy, fresh blackberries, agave, and citrus.
  • Pumpkin Spiced Espresso-tini: An autumnal take on a trending classic mixes Absolut Vodka, Frangelico, pumpkin, and Owen's Nitro Espresso.
  • Naughty Blood Orange Margarita: Raise your glass with this elevated, citrusy take on the classic margarita.
  • Nice Blood Orange Margarita: Fresh, bright, and citrus notes take center stage in this non-alcoholic beverage featuring Spiritless Jalisco 55.
  • Spiced & Spiked Cider: Mt. Gay Eclipse Rum is mixed with house-mulled cider, a dash of cinnamon, nutmeg, star anise, and clove for a festive sip.

Those who order the Spiced & Spiked cider will have their drink served in a limited-edition Claus for Celebration collectible mug that they can take home.

TGI Fridays has made some changes to its food menu for the holidays too.

The chain has added three new combos, each putting a festive spin on an American classic.

New for 2023, the Spiked Orange Glaze made with Hennessy Combo boasts New York Strip and Crispy Shrimp made with Hennessy V.S Cognac, orange, and garlic.

Also new is the Korean red chile combo of chicken and crispy shrimp, covered with the bold and spicy sauce.

And the Fridays' menu classic crispy whiskey combo is back, featuring a half-rack of double-basted pork ribs and crispy fried shrimp served with the sweet and savory whiskey-glaze sauce.

As a holiday bonus, members of the TGI Fridays loyalty program, Fridays Rewards, will earn double points on all holiday combos between December 1 and December 31.

“With delicious seasonal offerings on the menu, we're excited for guests to come in and get 'That Fridays Feeling' throughout the holidays,” said Tiffany Wilburn, senior vice president of marketing at TGI Fridays in a press release.

FESTIVE FLAVORS

But TGI Fridays is not the only place making some big menu changes for the holiday season.

Chick-fil-A is adding its beloved peppermint milkshake and chicken tortilla soup to the menu on November 13.

As well as the returning favorites, the fast food chain is also serving up two new iced peppermint coffees.

Dairy Queen has added a new festive blizzard featuring the flavors of a beloved brand.

And Panda Express has created its “spiciest dish yet.”
