Washington hired Quinn, who had been the Dallas Cowboys defensive coordinator since 2021.
He was the Atlanta Falcons head coach the previous six seasons.
First Take host Molly Qerim broke the head coaching hire alongside Stephen A., Damien Woody, and Kimberley A. Martin.
Qerim asked Stephen A. if he liked the Commanders hire of Quinn, and the fiery personality gave a simple, yet savage response.

"No I do not," Smith answered.
Stephen A. then brought up Quinn's coaching history.
He mentioned that Quinn was the head coach of a Falcons team that blew a 28-3 in the Super Bowl.
Smith did give credit to Quinn's tenure with Dallas, saying he improved the defense "by leaps and bounds."

But he also noted that the new head coach led a Cowboys defense that allowed six touchdowns in their 48-32 Wild Card round loss to the Green Bay Packers.
Stephen A. wasn't impressed with Washington's hire and added that Quinn should've returned to the Cowboys to "make amends" for his team's playoff disaster loss.
And First Take fans agreed with the sports media star on X, formerly Twitter.
One commented, "He's not wrong."
Another said, "It's called failing up."
While a third wrote, "I never agreed with Stephen A. more."
Quinn has a 43-42 career record as the Falcons head coach.
He coached Atlanta to three straight seasons with a below .500 win percentage before being fired in 2020.
The NFL has no head coach vacancies available after the Commanders' latest hire.
