BOISE, Idaho (AP) - Prosecutors in Robert Hall's murder trial argue his wife is telling Ada County jurors a different story than she told police after her lover was shot.
Hall is charged with first-degree murder in the death of Emmett Corrigan. Prosecutors allege he knew his wife and Corrigan were having an affair and confronted him with a gun in the parking lot of a Meridian drug store on March 11, 2011.
Kandi Hall testified that the men argued and Corrigan pushed Hall. She said she turned away and heard three shots. She testified she didn't think her husband knew about the affair until the day of the shooting.
However prosecutors produced a January 2011 email from Hall to his wife indicating that he knew about the affair.
