Walking in Sync
“What happens a lot of times with a couple is you get a sense of who’s more dominant, or who is more in charge or who is more of the leader," the expert said. "When you have a couple that are standing shoulder to shoulder, and of course you can’t be exact, but within a couple of inches, it shows that you’re maintaining a connection that you’re connected to each other, but one isn’t more important than the other, so to speak, because your stride is similar.”
“Sometimes there is a height difference, but whoever has the advantage … whoever has longer legs, and they take a longer stride, they can actually control that. It’s a conscious decision of whether you want to or not. There is a height difference between Harry and Meghan," Cobb continued. "When they were walking down the steps, you can tell it was the same foot leading, it was a very similar stride, but Harry pulled it in. He reigned it in. In my opinion, you don’t consciously say, ‘OK, this is what I’m doing right now,’ but subconsciously because you just feel that connection.”
