THE Detroit Pistons are having their games moved out of town.
Amidst a record-breaking losing streak, the NBA announced that the Pistons will have one of their games moved out of Detroit.

The Pistons' game against the New York Knicks on February 26 is being moved to New York at Madison Square Garden.
The NBA says this was due to scheduling conflicts caused by the In-Season Tournament.
"The National Basketball Association announced today that the Detroit Pistons Feb. 26 game with the New York Knicks will be moved to Madison Square Garden," an NBA press release said.
"The cause for the change was unique scheduling complications associated with the In-Season Tournament.

"The game will now tip off at 7:30 p.m. ET."
On Thursday night the Pistons have the chance to tie the record for the longest losing streak in NBA history.
They already have claimed the longest single-season streak in NBA history with 27 losses in a row.
A 28th loss would tie the Pistons with the 2014-2015 and 2015-2016 Philadelphia 76ers who lost 28 games across two seasons.

The Pistons' streak is even more impressive as they have lost their games in the same season and the record started only three games into the season.
After seeing the news that the Pistons would have a game relocated, NBA fans all came up with the same joke that soon the Pistons themselves would get relocated outside of the league.
"The NBA is about to relocate the whole pistons team soon," one fan said.
"Finna relocate the pistons to the G league soon," another fan said.
"They should relocate the pistons to Taiwan," a third fan said.
The Pistons will face off against the Boston Celtics at 7:30 pm in a daunting matchup that will likely see the record extended.
The Celtics nearly have as many wins as the Pistons do losses and are considered top contenders to win the championship.
