JOE Biden DID lie about visiting the Tree of Life synagogue where 11 people were killed in a violent mass shooting three years ago, the White House has admitted.
The president told Jewish leaders he remembered "spending time at" the Pittsburgh the house of worship - but the executive director of the synagogue disputed this.

During his 16-minute virtual address on Thursday, Biden said: "I remember spending time at the, you know, going to the, you know, the Tree of Life synagogue, speaking with them."
But Barb Feige, executive director of the Tree of Life in Pittsburgh, told the New York Post Biden had not made an appearance there since the massacre.
And nearly 24 hours after being quizzed about the discrepancy, a White House official admitted the president "was referring to a call he had with the Tree of Life rabbi in 2019", the outlet reports.
The 2018 mass shooting was the worst anti-Jewish hate crime in US history.
Gunman Robert Bowers fired at police and was shot several times – but not before killing 11, including four police officers, and injuring six others.
Three days after the horror shooting in October 2018, former President Donald Trump and his wife Melania visited the synagogue.

They were accompanied by Jewish members of his administration, including his daughter Ivanka Trump, her husband Jared Kushner, and Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin.
Trump described the mass shooting as a “wicked act of mass murder” that "is pure evil, hard to believe, and frankly something that is unimaginable".
The shooter Bowers was charged with 29 federal counts, including hate crimes and weapons offenses, and received the death penalty.
Armed with an AR-15-style rifle and at least three handguns, Bowers shouted anti-Semitic slurs before opening fire inside the synagogue.
For months, he had been spewing his anger onto the web, calling immigrants "invaders" and claiming Jews were the "enemy of white people".
Moments before cops said he barged into the synagogue, Bowers put out his final message: "I can't sit by and watch my people get slaughtered. Screw your optics, I'm going in."
The lunatic was on Gab, a social network that bills itself as being dedicated to free speech and that is increasingly popular among alt-right activists and white nationalists.
After opening an account, Bowers shared a stream of anti-Jewish slurs and conspiracy theories.
His biography read: "Jews are the children of Satan."
A judge in Pittsburgh recently ruled in July 2021 to move forward with the long-stalled proceedings against the killer.
