JASON Whitlock has hit back at Stephen A. Smith after being fiercely roasted by his former ESPN colleague on his latest show.
Smith launched a fiery tirade against the sports reporter on Wednesday after Whitlock bashed the First Take host's memoir in a column this week.

Whitlock claimed details of the book do not "add up," prompting Smith to label him a "piece of s**t" and fat b*****d."
Smith recently released a book called 'Straight Shooter: A Memoir of Second Chances and First Takes.'
However, Whitlock unleashed a column earlier in the week titled 'Does Katt Williams' interview expose Stephen A. Smith as a fraud?'
Whitlock suggested in a column for The Baze that Smith's book was "farcical" and poked at his claim that Winston-Salem State recruited him to play basketball.

And on Wednesday, during a new episode of the 'Stephen A. Smith Show,' the ESPN star sounded off and slammed Whitlock in the episode for his claims.
"It's time for me to address this. I'm only gonna do it once. Because this b*****d is worth less than a d**n cockroach.
"He wanted my attention; he's got it," Smith said.
The First Take host continued on his podcast that Whitlock is the "worst" human he has "ever known."

Smith went on to share he called his ESPN bosses to make them aware of the incoming rant and that he had to call his pastor asking for forgiveness for what he was about to do.
"I literally called my pastor and asked for his forgiveness and understanding in advance, because he’s not going to recognize the person he’s about to hear.
"I did the same when I emailed the bosses at ESPN," Smith said.
He also expressed this was a "one show only" thing.
"My apologies to everybody that you had to see me out of character to address this dude.
"But I ask for everybody’s indulgence for one show and one show only. And please do not allow this to be a reflection on my character because this is not how I act every day."
Whitlock fired back at the comments from his social media account and continued the war of words.
"I knew Stephen A was limited. I didn't know he was this limited.
"I'm starting to feel sorry for him. I beat up a baby seal," Whitlock tweeted.
In another tweet, Whitlock said: "Could you imagine being a journalist covering the sports media, and the highest-profile guy at ESPN writes a book full of fabrications and exaggerations.
"And you're too afraid to address the fact that the guy spent an hour cussing and name-calling and never addressing any of the obvious questions about the truth of his "memoir."
Smith has insisted his memoir is wholly accurate.
He said: "There are people out there lying and actually putting out there that I didn't write my book,' Smith said of 'Straight Shooter: A Memoir of Second Chances and First Takes.'

"I can assure you, so help me God, I wrote my book,' he continued. 'It's my memoir. It's my life story. I wasn't leaving that in the hands of other people. So, people who say that, it's just lies."
