CHEVY Chase has been seen at a Christmas Vacation event where he fell off the stage after suffering from heart failure.
The 80-year-old attended the event at Shea's Performing Arts Center in Buffalo, New York.

At the arts center, they showed National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation and there was a question and answer session.
According to photos and video obtained by TMZ, Chevy entered the stage via wheelchair, but he eventually stood up and walked toward the crowd.
Unfortunately, as he was happily greeting the audience, he continued to walk forward until he walked right off the stage and fell on the floor.
He was escorted back on stage with help from his wife and the host of the Q&A.

Members of the audience said he stayed till the end of the event and took photos with fans afterward.
Sources close to Chevy told TMZ that he misjudged where the edge of the stage was due to the lighting.
Thankfully, the actor came out unscathed except for a bruised knee.

On Sunday, Chevy attended the inaugural Rocky Day - a tribute to actor Sylvester Stallone, 77 - in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

He sat in his wheelchair at the bottom of the stairs at the Philadelphia Museum of Art.
The Saturday Night Live veteran wore a red puffer jacket over a crisp white shirt and denim jeans.
The Community alum covered his head with a white cap and had on red-rimmed glasses.
Chevy eventually stood up out of the wheelchair and posed with the Rambo actor in front of the famous Rocky statue.
The pair smiled at the cameras as Chevy wrapped his arm around Slyvester's shoulder.
HEALTH SCARE
In March 2021, Chevy went to his home in Westchester after spending five weeks in the hospital due to undisclosed issues with his heart, according to Variety.
The stand-up comedian eventually released a statement to Page Six and said: “These are my first few days home.
"I can only say how happy I am to now be back with my family.
"I’m feeling good. I was in the hospital for five weeks. A heart issue."
Chevy closed: "So for now, I’m around the house. Not going anywhere.”
In February 2022, the Caddyshack actor shared more about his heart issues in an interview with CBS Sunday Morning.

He told CBS correspondent Jim Axelrod that he had near-fatal heart failure.
The comic jokingly mentioned that he did not need his heart anymore: “Oh, we removed it. Didn’t need it. It’s much better now.”
