AN Aldi worker has spilled the beans on a shopping secret that could help customers get the freshest meat products.

Aldi has exploded in popularity as thousands of its stores have popped up across the country, offering unique products at killer prices.

To help shoppers get even better deals at the store, one employee turned to social media to share his tips for shopping at the retailer.

He walked viewers through an article about the 10 secrets for shopping at Aldi from Eat This, Not That.

"Let's review ten secrets for shopping at Aldi's from employees," said Matthew Lesky (@matthewlesky) to kick off the TikTok video, shared in 2021.

Although there are a few hot tips in the clip, Lesky's advice for picking the freshest meat stood out.

Should Aldi shoppers really "reach for the bottom," as advised in the original article?

"If your store is worth their salt, they will put the old stuff on top and the new stuff on the bottom," he said.

But what may be good for shoppers may not be best for employees.

"So you can do that, but it's really annoying to us when you do," he added.

Lesky also confirmed other tips about shopping at Aldi.

"They do have a killer money-back guarantee — use that," he said.

"Return stuff you don't like — no reason — just do it."

Produce is sometimes cheaper than wholesalers, he confirmed too.

Shoppers may be able to see fully restocked shelves if they visit the store on Wednesday, he said, but stocking days vary.

Over 10,000 people liked the clip and several left comments.

"Love shopping at Aldi!" one user wrote.

"When I worked there, I probably sold my weight in avocados to a restaurant owner each day," another said.
