A FORMER Chick-fil-A employee has shared the phrase that many customers would use in hopes of scoring free food.
She also shared several insights into the fast food chain's menu, including underrated items.

A TikToker and self-proclaimed former Chick-fil-A employee (@haileygrant00) hopped on the platform to share insider knowledge from her time working at the restaurant.
In a video, she set a misconception straight about Chick-fil-A's iconic phrase, "My pleasure."
A rumor was going around that if you uttered the phrase at any restaurant location, then you would score a free food item or discount.
However, the former employee set this rumor straight.

"We hate it when people come up and they say 'my pleasure' thinking that they're gonna get something free, because that's just not true," she said.
"And to answer your question, yes, we do have to say 'my pleasure,'" added the TikToker.
MENU SECRETS
In addition to debunking the rumor, the former employee shared some insights into the Chick-fil-A menu.
She listed several menu items she considered "underrated," including the Grilled Chicken Club Sandwich.

The employee described the sandwich as "so fire" and recommended pairing it with the Honey Roasted BBQ Sauce, which it typically comes with.
A breakfast tip that she shared for Chick-n-Minis lovers was to ask for honey and drizzle it on the inside of your minis.

"If anybody came up and was like, 'What is your favorite breakfast menu item?' all of the employees, literally all of us, would tell them the Egg White Grill," she said. "Nobody talks about how good it is."
"I get that the Chick-n-Minis and the Chicken Biscuit are good - the Egg White Grill does not compare to them. It is so much better," she said.
Another menu insight she provided was in regards to the popular Chick-fil-A lemonade.
She clarified that the regular and diet version of the lemonade "taste exactly the same."
The only difference between the two is that the diet is "damn near no calories" and the regular is "filled with sugar."
"We put so much sugar in our lemonade," she shared.
