MAGIC Eraser sponges are perfect for removing scuffs, scrapes and other marks in your home - but they're not always cheap.
Instead of forking out for the real deal, one cleaning whizz decided to save some money by making her own, and it only cost her 35p.

To make your own you'll need melamine foam, which Nicole Jacques, who shared the trick on her Instagram account, suggesting buying from Amazon for as little as 35p per sponge.
She explained: "Melamine foam is harder than what makes up most stains, but it's softer than most of the surfaces those stains are on.
"This allows the Magic Eraser to remove stains without scratching the surface underneath or around the stain."
Once you've got your hands on the foam all you need to do is soak it in half a cup of warm water, one tbsp of baking soda, one tsp of washing soda.
Simply soak the sponge for a few seconds and wring out any excess water - then you're ready to get cleaning.
Nicole said: "I use these to take off scuff marks and debris and my walls and baseboards, as well as my oven door and high-tough surfaces, and of course they work like a charm on the soles of shoes."
You can also use cleaning pro's mixture on a regular sponge if you want a biodegradable option but you'll need to put in a bit more elbow grease to get rid of the same marks.
It's also important to remember not to use the DIY sponges on delicate surfaces since they could damage them.
