COUNCIL, Idaho (CBS 2) — Highway 95 is back open after road crews shut it down for several hours due to dangerous driving conditions.
The Idaho Transportation Department closed Highway 95 between Council and New Meadows due to drifting and blowing snow.
Highway 21 remains closed due to drifting snow on the road. Poor conditions remain on Highway 55.
"All available plow crews are fighting this storm," ITD says.
Mountain locations throughout the region are expected to get hit especially hard with snow.
