Danny Lee Ford is a retired American football player and coach who was born on December 19, 194From 1967 through 1969, he was a member of the University of Alabama football team. From 1978 to 1989, he was the head football coach at Clemson University in South Carolina, and from 1993 to 1997, he was the head coach at the University of Arkansas, with a career record of 122–59–He won five Atlantic Coast Conference championships and six bowl games during his 12 years as head coach of the Clemson Tigers.
