Another Step Forward
Yesterday's comprehensive win is the latest impressive moment in the career of Blueface.
While some older people may not know too much about him, Blueface has spent the last few years making his name in the US as a rapper.
The 26-year-old, whose birth name is Johnnathan Jamall Porter, went viral in 2018 for his offbeat style of rapping.
And he released his first studio album in 2020.
He made his amateur boxing debut in 2021 with a win over TikTok star Kane Trujillo before following that up with the win over Matthews.

It's been a packed weekend of crossover boxing and plenty of new fans are likely to have been attracted to Kingpyn's tournament.

But KSI, one of the early faces of this trend, had a message for his fellow celebs.

Blueface has been left "confused" after not being to "finish" Ed Matthews.
The rapper pummelled Matthews and was given four standing counts by the referee being stopped.
Blueface tweeted after the fight: "Was anybody else confused about the ref saving ED? Why they wouldn’t let me finish him?"
'I love to fight'
A victorious Blueface has been speaking after stopping Ed Matthews to settle their row.
The rapper said: "Like I said before, I’m going to take him to deep waters where he can’t swim and I’m going to be victorious.
"Thank you to everyone for coming out. I did this for myself, I love to fight. I’ve been fighting for free for a long time so if they’ve got money then I’m fighting.
"Ain’t nobody worth me calling out, so tell them to call me with some money in the contract and we'll fight."

But it was the rapper who took victory after dropping Matthews in the second round.
